In 1986, The Guidance Center’s Adult & Family Services was established to offer comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder services to individuals in Southeastern Michigan who have private insurance, Medicare, or self-pay.  Adult & Family Services provides a broad range of highly effective services that help children, adults, and families unlock potential and build better lives.

At Adult & Family Services, our primary goal is to provide the best quality services possible to our clients using a comprehensive treatment approach.  Our diverse staff of over twenty professionals is committed to meet the needs of our community through a variety of counseling opportunities including psychiatric services available at our facility.

Our services are designed to meet the ever-changing needs of our community for which we serve.  Community outreach, education, and relationship building complement our traditional mental health and substance use disorder treatment models.  Our services extend from individual, couple, and family counseling to offering healthy living classes and corporate well-being.

Our methods of payment include most insurance plans, major credit cards and self-pay.
